This page explains where our information comes from and how we check it.
Our sources
- Official results published by promotions and sanctioning bodies.
- Publicly available records and combat-sports databases.
- Reputable news outlets and primary sources such as official statements and press materials.
How we verify
- We cross-reference results and records across more than one source where possible.
- Fighter records and method-of-victory breakdowns are compiled from publicly available fight histories and updated after events.
- Claims that cannot be reasonably verified are labelled as such or not published.
Editorial review
Our reporting is grounded in real, sourced material and held to our editorial standards; anything unclear or sensitive is given closer review before it runs. We do not knowingly publish fabricated quotes, records or results. See our Editorial Policy at https://mmahit.com/editorial-policy.
Limitations
Combat-sports data changes fast. Records may briefly lag official updates, and public sources sometimes disagree. If you spot a discrepancy, please report it via our Corrections Policy at https://mmahit.com/corrections — email [email protected].
